Inspiring Science Workshops for Primary Schools

Wales has a rich history of engineering and has some of the largest hydroelectric power stations in the UK. Dinorwig Power Station, also known as Electric Mountain, is located in Snowdonia and has a visitors centre for people to learn more about how hydroelectric power stations operate.

The country has many hot spots of innovation including the Centre for Alternative Technology and The Spaceguard Centre which is part of the important global effort to track Near Earth Objects (NEOs) – a warning system that will hopefully alert us to any large asteroids heading towards Earth!

In Cardiff the Techniquest science discovery centre is dedicated to embedding science in Welsh culture. Other museums of interest include the Conwy Valley Railway Museum and the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.

The Professor Bubbleworks team wants to inspire the next generation of Welsh innovators. We offer engaging science workshops all over Wales. Our fully trained team are experts in delivering exciting activities to kids between the ages of 4-11. Whether your young professors are based in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Wrexham or Tonypandy – we can cover anywhere in the county.
