World Bee Day

Bees are among the hardest working creatures on the planet. World Bee Day raises awareness on the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping the planet healthy. It also invites us to consider the many challenges that bees face in their changing environments.

Why are bees so important to us? What makes the queen bee so powerful? Why is the beehive such a unique shape? What are the environmental factors that threaten bees? These are some of the questions that the Professor Bubbleworks science workshops explore.
