Inspiring Science Workshops for Primary Schools

Our special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) workshops are based around visual and hands-on demonstrations. The workshops can be adapted to suit each class, depending on your recommendations.

The Professor Bubbleworks visits usually include a combination of a morning show during an assembly, followed by a day of workshops, however, from experience, we’d suggest running longer workshops as the children tend to benefit much more from this immersive experience.

We can adapt the workshops so they have elements of our shows suited to the individual workshops like our demonstration of big smoke rings and our secret bubble mixture.

Every year we create new activities in line with the learning objectives of the British Science Association’s topic for the year. The British Science Week theme for 2022 was ‘Growth’ and 2023 will be all about ‘Connections’.

In order to explore our new ‘Connections’ theme for 2023, we have devised some fantastic science demonstrations such as our ping pong ball launcher, centripetal force flying platform, Bernoulli’s wind bags, light up energy sticks and plasma ball.
