IMMERSIVE SCIENCE WORKSHOPS

Our Immersive Days are similar to our Science Day, but with longer sessions with Professor Bubbleworks. As the workshops are longer, this option is usually scheduled over two full school days.

By having the extended sessions during the Immersive Days, students are able to have more hands-on opportunities and to explore the science topics in more depth with additional experiments and activities.

Each assembly, demonstration and hands-on activity is specifically designed to engage students, of all ages and abilities, to help them learn about the wonders of science.

Every year we create new activities in line with the learning objectives of the British Science Association’s topic for the year. The British Science Week theme for 2022 was ‘Growth’ and 2023 will be all about ‘Connections’.

In order to explore our new ‘Connections’ theme for 2023, we have devised some fantastic science demonstrations such as our ping pong ball launcher, centripetal force flying platform, Bernoulli’s wind bags, light up energy sticks and plasma ball.

Are you available in my area?

We visit all over the UK but please note that we accept bookings on a first-come first-served basis. Book your date now to avoid disappointment!

Do you offer visits for all types of schools?

We run workshops in both small and large primary schools. We can cater for Special Educational Need and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.

Are the workshops run inside or outside?

Our workshops are designed to run using an indoor space, we can however adapt the workshops to suit any type of facility. Please mention any special requirements when speaking to our team.

Are workshops suitable for EYFS, KS1 and KS2?

Yes! All our workshops are adapted to suit the age and learning level of each age-group making sure all children get the most out of our visits.
