The Professor Bubbleworks team love delivering lively and engaging science workshops in Somerset. The county is full of exciting conservation projects such as those led by the Longleat Estate. Longleat’s forest covers more than 3000 acres and supports an immense amount of species diversity. There they run breeding programmes to increase the populations of native animals such as the red squirrel. They also maintain other areas like Cheddar Gorge which is protected as a Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI).
