International Mountain Day
International Mountain Day is a United Nations (UN) initiative to promote and support mountain biodiversity, sustainable tourism, the indigenous and local populations, agriculture, water sources and renewable energy production such as hydropower, solar power, wind power and biogas.
During International Mountain Day the Professor Bubbleworks team will deliver workshops that promote the key messages of this important day and look at how science, technology and engineering play an important role in protecting mountains all over the world.
